Rapeseed Meal

Meal is a product obtained after pressing vegetable oil using presses of various designs from prepared seeds of oilseed crops (sunflower, rapeseed, camelina, flax, soybean, and others). A concentrated feed for farm animals with a high protein content (15–40%); one of the components of compound feed.

Rapeseed meal is one of the components of cattle feed rations. Because rapeseed belongs to the cruciferous family, the resulting meal is a milk-boosting feed. Its fairly high protein content helps increase milk fat content, while its low fiber content allows this additive to be combined with other feeds.
